The Legless Lizards will be performing near the Westpac Bank in Hampshire Road to support The Friends of Kororoit Creek “Taking it to the Streets 2016” clean up event on Sunday to help promote this initiative which gives our main street a tidy up and to prevent litter from going down the drains and into the creek!
The FOCK will supply bags, gloves and pick up tools to anyone who wants to turn up and help keep Sunshine tidy.
Meet at Westpac Bank on Hampshire Road, Sunshine.
Address: 311 Hampshire Road, Sunshine Vic 3020
Date: Sunday 20th November, 2016
Contact: Jodie Williams, 0402 097 028 or email@example.com
We are currently booked for quite a few train station gigs! The performances are timed for either morning or afternoon peak hours and it has been rather refreshing to play at 7.00am or 4.00pm with the passing crowd of locals.
The Sunshine Business Association has been running Sunshine Train Station Project (see our performances page for dates and times).
We were also booked by the Level Crossing Removal Authority to perform at the opening of the new St Albans and Ginifer train stations.
“The method: Starting with packets of local soil with nutritious fungi, we sprinkled thousands of diuris seeds and a little water into the mix. Squishing the slop into ‘mud pies’ and splattering them into the turf with a spatula was the fun bit.” Read More.
As part of the Projector Bike Ride we will be presenting an encore screening of the Dwelling People – City of Light/Spirit of Place slideshow at the Darling Four Mills at Albion Station this Wednesday Evening 23rd March from 7:30pm.
