Watch Out For Roos When Driving

8 Dec , 2015

We often travel far and wide and always encounter wildlife which has been killed along highways and roads.

Just a reminder to be wary when driving in the country to look out for kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and other animals and wildlife crossing the road without warning.

The worst times are generally dusk through dawn but the hoppers can often start emerging after 4.30pm and continue right through until 10.00am the next day.

The photo is of a Roo having a drink at a watering hole near the Murchison Gap Lookout about an hour before we started playing at Strath Creek Land Care Christmas break up party.
